While we want our skin, hair, and other features to keep their youthful glow, we don’t want our current wardrobe to reflect our high school or college years. There’s a major difference between having great style and copying the younger generation on every trend – especially when it comes to silhouettes!

1. Ripped Jeans

Ripped jeans may have been cute and stylish in college, but they have no place in your updated wardrobe. Along the same lines, avoid oversized or baggy jeans, which don’t flatter your shape or add anything to your overall look.

Instead, swap your ripped jeans for a classic pair of straight jeans. These are just as easy to style, and your outfit will look elevated and age appropriate. Investing in a few pairs of higher-quality denim in a dark and a light wash will instantly upgrade your entire wardrobe and last for years to come.
