Klingon Slide2Unlock Theme

I have created a Klingon theme for S2U2, a slide2unlock app for Windows mobile devices.

Yes, the pIqaD on the clock is correct :)

To install this theme follow these steps:

Go to S2U2 Homepage and download the app and install it on your device

Download Klingon.zip (For QVGA devices (240x320))
Download KlingonVGA.zip (For VGA devices (480x640))

Inside Klingon.zip is a folder called Klingon that has a bunch of files and a clock directory in it.

Copy all the files in the Klingon folder to /Programs/S2U2/gfx on your device (you can do this through activesync, or, if your device has an expansion card, by copying the files onto the card and then moving them to the gfx folder via the devices file manager).

Once all the files have been overridden go to start/programs/S2U2 on the device, and run S2U2 Settings.

Make sure the settings match these:
Date Format: Option 1
Time Format: Option 1
Clock Font Folder: clock\

Tap save and then yes.

Run S2U2

There a lots of other settings in S2U2 and I would advise playing with them. If your using this on a mobile phone you can have it handle the callerID settings and even give you a slide2answer option for incoming calls.

Sorry, I don't have an iPhone. If you know of an emulator for it or instructions on how to modify the built in slide2unlock app, then I could take a stab at it.

So, as long as it's WM5 or 6, and the correct screen size, this should work in any phone, do I understand that correctly?

I have the Pocket PC, 8125. It has the sliding screen, so would it need a separate image for that?

It should work fine on the 8125. I used to run S2U2 (with this theme) on an HTC6700, which is older than the 8125 I think.

Are you saying that it needs a landscape graphic? I normally unlock my phone before switching to landscape mode, but I should add one anyway. I'll do that soon.

Cool, and yes, the landscape. Maybe I'm not understanding .... does the graphic you made go away after unlocking it?

Yeah, when you slide the slider, the phone unlocks and goes back to the today screen or whatever you were using.

Ahhh .... cool. As soon as I get the nerve to try it, I'll jump right on it. I'm 'concerned' about bricking my Pocket PC .... lol

Oh, it can't brick your device. It's just a regular app.

The only way to brick a WinMo device is to install a new ROM that completely messes up the device (even then you can normally force a boot loader mode and reimage the device). If an app messes up your device you can just hard reset it and it's back to being like it was the day you got it (or last installed a new ROM image).
