Reading is in! And so are these books. Allow me to introduce you to your summer reading list.
All the hot girls are reading this summer, and even if you think that’s not your thing, I’m here to tell you it’s never too late to start! I have fond memories of partaking in all kinds of summer reading challenges and book clubs at my local library growing up, so allow me to be your tour guide through this summer’s reading list.
Even if you are not a reader by nature, there are various reasons to pick up the hobby. Firstly, it’s a great relaxation hobby or wind-down at the end of the day. When I’m in the mood to do nothing, I like the option of picking up a book rather than the remote.
I also notice how much it helps with increasing my attention span. At first, reading may make you realize how bizarre it feels to do something for a prolonged period of time without reaching for your phone. When you become absorbed in a book though, you find yourself not wanting to check your phone so you don’t lose your momentum, exercising your attention span.
Reading can also be educational. I enjoy books where I know I’m putting time into gaining some type of knowledge, whether that be historical, spiritual, political, or self-improvement. Not that there’s anything wrong with a good fiction novel! And don’t you worry, I’ve got several recommendations for those listed below as well.
